Fall Staple – The Blazer
I guess you can say I’m a blazer fanatic. I have a good amount of them, but I have never added a houndstooth plaid print one to my wardrobe before. When I saw this one, I knew I had to get it, but the original price was a little too much for me. I really despise buying pieces at regular price, this is why I don’t mind waiting it out for a sale. So I kindly added it to my “saved for later” list and just like that it was on sale.

Happy October! What I love most about October is that it’s spooky season which means marathons of scary movies and if we weren’t dealing with coronavirus then I would definitely be finding the next haunted house/trail to go to! Happy Monday! I can’t believe that it’s been four months since I blogged! Man, time has been flying ever since COVID-19 decided to turn our lives upside down. But just like everyone else I’ve been finding ways to keep my peace, protect my energy and stay positive. Since Dom and I moved in April to our new apartment I’ve been finding my peace in decorating and making our beautiful space feel more and more like home. Feeling Unmotivated?
A few days ago I posted to the blog for the first time since February 22, 2020. You may be asking why so long? To be honest, I felt unmotivated and unfulfilled. I just couldn’t find the inspiration to write or create content, not when so many of us are experiencing so many different emotions at this time. But lately, I started to get out of that mindset and began to think differently. My current thoughts are — My content could inspire the next person to create or help another to temporarily get their mind off the negativity in the world.

Quarantine Life: The Organizing Edition
It’s day 47 of my quarantine life and I have to say it’s been pretty interesting for us to say the least. For starters we moved into a new apartment during a pandemic and it was the most frustrating experience, but we made it! To be honest the worst part were the delays of moving due to Covid-19 and the move-in experience as a whole. Let’s just say Dom and I will be hiring movers the next time around!
