The Summer Sneakers You Need

Growing up in New York, I can remember loving fashion even then. I was blessed with an allowance each week and would save up my money to buy a new outfit and more often than not a new pair of sneakers. I loved styling sneakers so much, anything from Air Jordans, Air Force 1s, Air Maxes and more. As I grew older, sneakers became less of a big interest in my fashion style, but recently I’ve been wanting to get back into adding more sneakers to my wardrobe.

Memorial Day weekend Dom and I headed to the outlet to shop for some sneakers with no luck. We then decided to try the mall and I was a little successful in finding some fun and cute sneaker options there, which I shared below.

I’ve been eyeing the Run Star Hike Platform Converse sneakers for soooo long and every time I thought about purchasing them they were sold out. If you’re like me searching for these, then you’re in luck because most stores have them restocked now. I absolutely love them so much! They are a must-have if you are looking for a sneaker that is not only stylish, but provides so much comfort. Buy them!

Okay I don’t know about you all, but I have absolutely no luck when I shop on the SNKRS app. I recently tried to get my hands on the Nike Dunk Low Retro SE Next Nature sneaker and had no luck. It hurt my heart because I just knew I was about to be wearing them all summer long. But I’m glad Dom and I walked into the Foot Locker store over the holiday because I found a pair of Air Force 1 in the kid’s section (wearing in the photos of this blog post) that are similar to the dunks and I now know my summer is set! The colors are just soooo good!

A new Nike store recently opened up near us and we actually visited on their grand opening day, but again we had no luck. In fact, we weren’t even able to find the dunk high tops I purchased (shown below) the first day. But Dom came up with an amazing idea to check the store again and I’m thankful that we did because I was able to get the dunks and these super cute Air Force 1 sneakers that are perfect for summer. Again, the colors are giving! The purple Air Force 1s have really cute details on them too.

All of these sneakers make me feel like summer is near and remind me how fun it is to style sneakers.
