Five Things to Do Before Summer Ends
I can’t believe that it’s September already, like really where did the time go! Before we know it will be officially fall and I’m not sure how I feel about that yet — Team Summer over here. Despite the hype of fall ending, summer is not officially over until September 23rd. Therefore, I’m making a list of things you should do before the season actually ends or before the warm weather ceases.
Sit Outside and Read a Book
This is one of my favorite things to do. Just having the sun beam on you while you’re reading a good book has always been so comforting to me. So if you’re trying to reach your book reading goals find some time to read outside before the weather is no longer warm — inserts sad face.

Go to a Rooftop Bar/Party
Before I went to New York it was on my list of to-dos while visiting the city to go to a rooftop bar/party. Unfortunately we didn’t make it to one. But I’m proud to say that I made it to a least two in D.C. this summer. This is such a fun way to see the city!
Farmers Market
This year I have not made it to a Farmers Market. So I think I might have to do some research to see if any near me will still be open.
Go to the Pool (if it doesn’t close after Labor Day)
I just recently heard that some pools stay open past Labor Day which is awesome! Make sure you get your last swims in before the weather changes.
Ride a Bike or Scooter
In the D.C. area this is always fun to do especially near the monuments. No bike or scooter? There are free-sharing bike and scooter services such as the Capital Bikeshare, and Lime or Bird for scooters.
What are some activities that you plan to do before the season ends?
