5 Gowns Less Than $200
I can remember a 17-year-old me, rummaging through the store trying to find that perfect dress for prom. Once I did find that one, my eyes lit up and I just knew that I had found it. It fit me so perfectly and made me feel like a princess. Now I’m in my twenties and sadly there are no more proms for me. However, there are special occasions that I can still find joy in searching for that perfect dress, like a wedding (like my OWN) or even a work party. My next upcoming grown up event is my job’s Gala and I want to show five dresses that I have in mind. If you have a similar event coming up now is the time to shop from my favorite five.
If you frequent my blog you should know that I love a good bargain! So when I went searching for a dress I knew that I didn’t want to spend anymore than $200. I searched many different websites, but I found that Nordstrom and David’s Bridal websites were the ones that had pretty reasonable prices.
Nordstrom Picks
I have to say that my favorite website to shop for an evening gown was definitely Nordstrom. They have a large selection of dresses and so many beautiful ones under $200. This metallic lace mermaid gown by Sequin Hearts really stands out to me! It’s a beautiful dress that definitely draws attention to you. Plus I am in love with a mermaid style dress, it hugs your figure in all the right places! I’ve never been to a gala before, yes this will be my first time, but I imagine that it is your time to shine and be fabulous. This dress can do that for you and that’s why it was one of my choices.

The sweetheart neck and side split are what I love about this gown. It’s a gown that you should wear to any red carpet, gala, or any huge event. It gives such a glamorous vibe that I adore, and the side cutouts give the right amount of sexiness. Also, the price cannot be beat! Can you believe that it’s only $58? I can’t.

If you’re looking for a simple gown, this is it! I love that this gown can be simple but still have a lot of flare with the deep v-back. It’s definitely a showstopper! I had this gown shipped to me in red. Unfortunately they no longer have it in red online but they still have other great colors to choose from.

Strapless Faille Dress with Countered Seamed Detail
When I was searching for a gown, this was the first choice that I had mailed to me to try out. I loved the mermaid skirt, the raspberry color, and that it was strapless! If you are one that is not afraid of color then this can be a great choice! If you decide to purchase from David’s Bridal just be aware that there are no store returns, only returns by mail which aren’t free. This gown is on sale right now for $129.

You can’t do a post about gowns without adding in an all black choice! Black has always been a classic color and easy to style. Add in some sequins and an open back and you have the perfect dress!
