Winter has arrived and the holidays are quickly approaching! Whether you’re out buying your last minute gifts, meeting with friends, or just going to a movie, this is the perfect go to look! This look gives you the opportunity to give your heels some rest and dress casually. The best part of winter is that I can throw on my combat boots and wear them with a pair of my favorite socks! I love crew socks, mid-calf, knee-high, over the knee socks, basically any socks this season because they’re so comfy and warm. I purchased these from JCPenney this weekend and I thought the random specks of color were so adorable. If you want a fun detail in your outfit a pair of colorful or patterned socks will do the job.

So about a month ago I had my first experience with a consignment shop. My boyfriend had recently sold a slew of his sneakers at Plato’s Closet, a consignment shop located in northern Virginia, and since I had heard so much about them I decided to try them out. My first visit I sold a few of my own items and stumbled across this gray blazer. So I used some of my credit and bought it, and now I can’t stop wearing it! I’ve been wanting to try the sweater and blazer look and thought my burgundy sweater, grey blazer, and green clutch would be a great color combination.
