The Statement Coat
Let’s face it, as the temps drop, your coat is the statement. Between this year and last year I made an effort to update my coat wardrobe. I’m so glad I did this because my coats will be doing all of the “talking” for me when I enter a room. I’m so here for all the patterned, bold colors, and different texture/style coats there are this year. If you’re like me and looking to ensure that your coats for the season are on point, look no further because I’m going to dive into some of my favorites right now!

Bucket Hat Outfit at Pumpkin Patch
A couple of weeks ago I finally made it to a pumpkin patch! Thank you to everyone that responded to my story when I asked what were the best pumpkin patches nearby. I chose to visit the DePaul's Urban Farm! I realized once we arrived that it was a location that I used to always pass on my way to work, but never noticed a pumpkin patch. It was the perfect location for me to capture some fall vibes and my bucket hat/jumper look!

Lessons Learned From Bulk Photo Shooting
Yesterday I took a shot at doing some bulk shooting. My plan was to shoot 9 looks in one day to assist with my consistency goals and creating more content. I went in with high hopes and was excited to get things done, but I ended the day with some lessons learned.

Combat Boots & A Gift Guide
It was about 6 years ago when I purchased my first combat boots and I think maybe a year or two ago I had to trash them. Insert *sad face* I had literally worn them down to the soles, needless to say they were my babies. I don’t know why it took me so long to replace my boots, but when I say the wait was worth it, there’s no lie.

Fall Staple – The Blazer
I guess you can say I’m a blazer fanatic. I have a good amount of them, but I have never added a houndstooth plaid print one to my wardrobe before. When I saw this one, I knew I had to get it, but the original price was a little too much for me. I really despise buying pieces at regular price, this is why I don’t mind waiting it out for a sale. So I kindly added it to my “saved for later” list and just like that it was on sale.

7 Fall Fedora Hats
I remember just last year I was skeptical on even buying a fedora hat. Now I'm having so much fun styling this one and the black fedora I featured in the Spooky Season Vibes blog post. For me, hats have always been a fun accessory piece when styling an outfit, especially dad hats. I'm happy that I found another hat style to fall in love with! So that you can share in my new love for fedora hats, I'm linking seven of them that are perfect for fall!

Spooky Season Vibes
Happy October! What I love most about October is that it’s spooky season which means marathons of scary movies and if we weren’t dealing with coronavirus then I would definitely be finding the next haunted house/trail to go to! So to celebrate the arrival of the spooky season, I wanted to somewhat channel the fashion style from the witches of the Coven season of American Horror Story — my favorite season!

My Favorite Things about Fall
Have you heard of the 52 Lists Project A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration book? If not, it’s a journal that encourages you to list out your answers to different topics or questions. I’m in love with it and it’s helping me to discover more about myself and even coming up with content ideas!

Puffer Coat + Fuzzy Sweater + A Pup
Different cities in the U.S. saw their first sight of snow this past weekend as Christmas Day approaches, and the DC Metro area was one of them. On my snow day I decided to wear one of my favorite sweaters from Cotton On.

Bomber Jacket + Pencil Skirt
I'm going to be real with you all, I love summer but nothing beats being able to throw on my favorite jacket when the weather permits itself! Fall is here and my jacket for the season is this adorable bomber jacket, I love wearing it. It looks great with a pencil skirt, jeans, pants, you name it. A bomber jacket is a hot commodity this fall and I bought mine at a very reasonable price!
