The Statement Coat

Let’s face it, as the temps drop, your coat is the statement. Between this year and last year I made an effort to update my coat wardrobe. I’m so glad I did this because my coats will be doing all of the “talking” for me when I enter a room. I’m so here for all the patterned, bold colors, and different texture/style coats there are this year. If you’re like me and looking to ensure that your coats for the season are on point, look no further because I’m going to dive into some of my favorites right now!

The Puffer

Now a puffer coat gives warmth, but is also stylish! I particularly love to wear my puffer coat on my walks with Barks or when running errands. I’m a big fan of the long length puffers because your girl gets cold often, but there are some short options that I would love to get my hands on too!

The Bold

I’m always here for a bold moment so I’m obsessed with all the color options you can currently find in a coat. Winter weather is dreary enough so why not brighten your day or even someone else’s by wearing a bold/fun color. So happy that bright colors are a trend right now!

The Fleece/Teddy Coat

Fleece or teddy textured coats have always been a favorite of mine. Love them so much because they give you the option to either style them with a casual outfit or for a going out/date night look. Check out my reel of how I styled one of my fleece coats I purchased this year!

The Patterned

Patterned coats are another fun option that you should definitely try! With these you can easily go basic with your outfit and allow the coat to make the statement. Check out my reel below to see this one in motion!

The Trench (Honorable Mention)

Love a good trench! First of all they are the best for fall, and you can even style them right into with winter. Try styling a trench with some over the knee boots or tall boots, and watch you turn heads! Such a classic and timeless coat. Love that leather trench coats are popular right now too.

Let me know the type of statement coat you’re trying to step out in this season!
