The Most Instagrammable Spots in LA

If you checked out my previous blog post then you know that Dom and I were blessed to recently visit Los Angeles again! We did so much in LA including making sure that we stop at some of the instagrammable spots we’ve seen on Instagram. Keep reading to see what cool spots we were able to hit up during our vacation!

Pink Wall – Paul Smith

Location: 8221 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

Most people can’t understand why a ordinary pink wall would be so popular. But come on it’s a PINK wall which equals fun and a perfect photo opportunity! It’s a dream photo shoot location for an influencer so of course I had to get in on the fun!

Tips:

• Read the Rules. Yes, there are rules to take pictures on this wall.

• Make sure your outfit is just as fun as the wall!

• Have fun with your poses!

The Last Bookstore

Location: 453 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Since a child I have always loved reading. I even have this vision that when Dom and I get a house that we’ll have a room or a whole wall to shelf our books. We will also have a reading nook! So I’m always excited to visit a bookstore and if it’s a unique one like the Last Bookstore then I’m definitely all in! My favorite part of this visit besides allll of the books was the hole in the wall books set up they have, so cool!

Tips:

• If you’re visiting because you want to get some bomb photo content, plan ahead. Figure out what poses you want to do or the content you are looking for.

• Be patient. Depending on the time you arrive there may be quite a few people capturing the same things you are trying to do.

Urban Light

Location: 5905 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036

The same day we visited the bookstore we also made an effort to see the Urban Lights! There were so many people there, but we managed to get a few flicks in!

Tip:

• If you want to do a photoshoot with less people in your background, choose to visit early on a weekday.

The Griffith Observatory

Location: 2800 E Observatory Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027

If you’re looking for a place to take your breath away then the view of Los Angeles from the Griffith Observatory will accomplish that for you!

Tips:

• If you’re not in the mood to do a whole lot of walking then you should Uber to the observatory. Otherwise, if you drive you will have to park on a hill and hike up to the building.

• Decide if you want to go during daylight or at night. The next time we visit we plan to go in the evening so we can get a view of the nightly LA skyline.

The Love Wall

Location: 8538 Hayden Ave, Culver City, CA 90232

I love LOVE so of course I wanted to visit a wall with graffiti love written all over it! Have fun and show some love on the gram with this wall!

The California Dreaming Wall

Location: 3423 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016

I’m always California dreaming! I was super excited that we were able to make a stop at this wall because it describes me so well. California has a special place in my heart and my dream is that we’ll move there one day. If you have California on your mind then you have to make a stop here.

Carrera Cafe

Location: 8251 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046

A couple of months before our visit to LA I saw a post of the Carrera Cafe on Instagram. It was a post of one of their famous lattes with the words Los Angeles inscribed on top of the foam. I immediately added it to our list of places that we must visit!

Tips:

• It’s super easy to have your own actual picture placed on your latte. All you have to do is download the Ripples app and upload your photo. You then show your number provided in the app to the Carrera employee working the register! You’ll then have a cool shot like Dom and I! They also have plenty of their own templates you can use.

• If you’re also interested in seeing the Pink Wall I mentioned earlier and this cafe then you’re in luck because their right across the street from each other! We visited the cafe first and then walked right across the street to the Pink Wall.

……….

There’s still a lot of other cool spots we wanted to visit, but just didn’t have the time. I’m glad that we did make it to so many places on our list. Any instagrammable spots you’ve been dying to visit in LA? Let me know in the comments below.

Girl yes lol! It was rules like you can’t put your foot up against it and you can only use your phone camera. They even have security there to move the crowd out the way when cars are coming in and out the parking lot lol. Thank you so much!! I had a lot of fun checking out each one!
