My At-Home Teeth Whitening Journey

My First Thoughts on Teeth Whitening

Beginning a teeth whitening routine has always been in the back of my mind, but I’ve never been sold on the idea that a product could truly whiten my teeth or that it was safe. So, when Smile Brilliant approached me with an opportunity to try out their product and do a review of my experience, I immediately did my research. Reading that their product was safe for the enamel and gums definitely put my mind at ease. Also seeing the before and after pictures of their customers’ smiles, their reviews, and the fact that the results are permanent was a big plus. So, I decided to try my first teeth whitening product, and I’m glad I did!

The Beginning Process

After agreeing to try out the Smile Brilliant product and do a review, I received my teeth whitening kit in the mail which included everything I needed to get started and create my molds so that Smile Brilliant could prepare my custom-made teeth trays. The instructions were easy to follow, and sending off my molds were even easier!

Even when my first set of molds weren’t approved to create my trays, Smile Brilliant notified me immediately and sent out additional supplies to create new molds. My second attempt at creating my molds worked out perfectly for me, and in less than a week I had my custom-made trays at my door!

My Daily Routine

Whether I was all ready for bed or just getting in from hanging out with friends, I was easily able to add my teeth whitening treatment into my day. I will be honest, I expected my trays to be uncomfortable but they weren’t, they fit so perfect! I did my treatments at night for 45 minutes to 1 hour every other day. I decided to do every other day because I wanted to give my teeth and gums a break to help combat any sensitivity issues. Also, using the desensitizing gel that Smile Brilliant included in the kit was definitely a must. Overall, my experience with my whitening treatment was great and I had no issues!

The Results

Smile Brilliant recommends that you do 7-14 treatments to see a difference in your teeth. I have completed 8 treatments thus far, and I am already seeing such a major difference in the appearance of my teeth. Just see for yourself! I have even received compliments on how white my teeth look now! I have always felt that I had a great smile, but now that my teeth look noticeably white, it makes me feel even more confident in my smile!
