A Fashion Show and A Green Skirt

One of my favorite events to attend in college was my school’s annual fashion show. I loved the excitement of preparing to go to the event which included coming up with an outfit to wear! When I heard there was a fashion show at Fairfax Corner this past weekend it brought back those memories, and there was once again that excitement to style an outfit!

The Outfit

I love styling an edgy outfit! To be honest, I don’t think I can do fall without a leather jacket anymore which exudes edgy when you need it. This is why I was on a search to find the perfect one since my old one was basically garbage now. I found this one for only $30 at Target in their new Wild Fable collection which by the way I love, you should definitely check it out!

I’m also a big fan of styling an outfit with a pop of color, and this time I chose to go with green! I am so in love with this green Forever 21 suede skirt, it’s super adorable. Keep scrolling for the link to shop it! Mini skirts are a big thing this season, stay tune because I might give my top five favorites! Also, styling this look with a pair of boots and a graphic top was the perfect touch.

The Fashion Show

What I loved most about the Fashion Nova fashion show is that they teamed up with the charity Women Giving Back, a foundation that is dedicated in helping women and children in crisis by providing clothing to them at no cost. There were also great discounts at the boutiques and stores that participated in the fashion show.

I attended the fashion show with my husband, Dom, and we enjoyed the show! The models, the music, the people, the host, and the fashion were great! I’ll definitely try to make it to the fashion show again next year! Maybe next year I’ll also make it to the biggest fashion event of September, New York Fashion Week, *wink, wink*.
