The Casual Ruffle Skirt Look

I love a casual Sunday! Almost every Sunday you can catch me in a pair of sneakers and usually jeans. This Sunday, however, I decided to switch things up and style a new ruffle skirt that I recently added to my wardrobe.

I purchased this striped ruffle skirt from Target for only $14 off their clearance rack. If this is your first time visiting the blog then I should be the one to tell you that most times I head right to the clearance rack of a store first to see what I can find. See my previous post, Eyelet Crop Top + Daisy Print Jeans, to see one of my best clearance finds!

I love this skirt because of its versatility; it can be worn casually as seen or even dressed up as a date night. Can’t wait to style it as a date night on the blog one day…..stay tuned.

Since I chose to style the skirt casually this time, it was easy just to choose to wear this simple black ribbed bodysuit and my all black converse sneakers. I have become such a fan of converses. Tip of the day: If you are not big on sneakers and just want something simple that can easily go with a lot of outfits, I say start with a pair of converses.

I enjoyed my Sunday in this outfit so much eating quesadillas with my husband (follow my instastories to see, @djsstyle), and having my skin sunkissed!

Let me know how your Sunday went, and if you tend to dress more casually on a Sunday! I hope you all have an amazing week, happy Monday!
