White Tee + Metallic Jacket Look

Featuring a bold lip color and and this amazingly colorful mural on the blog is the perfect way for me to celebrate this warm weather the DC Metro area is experiencing right now! Spring is that you? I think everyone can agree when I say, “Finally!“

Spring is finally here and I’m so excited to feature more combinations of fun patterns and colors on the blog. I’m definitely not one to shy away from color so when my husband, Dom, told me over brunch about this beautiful mural in Mclean, Virginia, I was so excited to see it and to get some amazing shots. Plus after seeing photos of the mural I thought it would look great with the lipstick I was wearing. (FBF moment: Dom and I ventured out to a mural in Bethesda, Maryland where I featured a LWD a couple of years ago on the You Down with the LWD?post.)

Tip of the day:If interested in taking photos at a mural my tip is to wear something that isn’t too busy because you don’t want the mural and your outfit to clash. This is why I always choose a white top or a white dress when shooting at a mural. 

Now let’s talk about this white tee. Last week I went to Target to browse their clearance rack and I found this “Mas Amor Por Favor” top. It was on sale for only $7 so I grabbed it with the quickness. I am so in love with the fit of the top and it’s message – Translation: “More love. Please.” I remembered I also saw this top on the Windy Style blog where she styled an althleisure look that was soooo cute, see the look here. Check out her blog she posts lots of stylish outfits! With blogging you can find inspiration everywhere even in your peers this is something that I love about being a blogger.
