Animal Print Pants and a Trench Look

As I write this post it is literally snowing outside, the DMV’s area first real snow storm of the year on the second day of spring. Crazy right? Well I’m just sitting here wishing that we could at least get weather like it was in this photoshoot. 

Despite the current “spring weather” I wanted to start the season off right on the blog with some fun prints and colors. I looovvveee these pants because the animal print is too cute, they’re Topshop, and I only purchased them for about $10 at Nordstrom Rack. I like styling them with a white top because the pants are so busy, and this way creates a sleek and chic look. 

Okay so this bag from T.J. Maxx is my favorite part of this outfit. I purchased it for only $25. I love the details such as the chain handle, one side snakeskin and the other side a solid color mint (can’t really see this detail in the pics, sorry! I will make sure to show this detail when I style it next time), and just the mint color in general. I don’t think I have ever really styled clothing and/or accessories that were a mint color, so I’m excited to come up with more outfit ideas with this bag for you guys to see! Unfortunately although I searched high and low for this bag I was unable to find it, but I do have some other options below. 

In my opinion, you can’t do spring without a trench. I mean you can…..but you should definitely consider buying a trench coat because they are an amazing staple piece that never go out of style. —- Tip of the Day! Honestly this is probably one of my most expensive clothing purchases ever, but it was well worth it.
