A Black Velvet Dress + A Metallic Moto Jacket

Have you ever gone shopping with the motive to buy one particular item but end up buying more than what you planned on purchasing? I know you have, it’s happened to the best of us. I recently fell victim to this dilemma! Most times Target is always the culprit that gets me but this time it was Forever 21.

My goal a week ago was to find a plain black shirt or bodysuit that I could wear to the movies to watch the Black Panther so I could stick to my all black outfit theme. Sidenote: Has anyone seen Black Panther? If you haven’t, go see it because it is a must watch! Anywho, as I searched for the perfect black top I came across this beyond cute long sleeved black velvet dress on Forever 21’s clearance rack, however it didn’t show the sale price. I wasn’t too worried about the price though. I figured it was on the clearance rack, and it’s Forever 21 they always have great prices.

So I head to the checkout and found out the dress was on sale for *drumroll, please* $3.50! As you can see, I’m so proud of this bargain, haha. Thanks to Forever 21 and their amazing clearance price you now get an black dress outfit inspiration from me, yay!! 

The metallic trend and I meet again. I love styling this trend in a lot of my looks. I just think metallic is so cool and a fun trend to incorporate into your look. I purchased this metallic moto jacket from Target on clearance for $31. 

Tip of the Day: Incorporate a metallic piece into your look to draw interest to your outfit and make people take a second look.
