My gratefulness is an understatement.

Not only am I finishing off this holiday season in style but I am ensuring that I recognize all of my blessings this year thus far. I am grateful for so many things this year such as marrying the love of my life and adopting my puppy Barkley. But most of all I am grateful for my amazing friends and family, and continuing to have the opportunity to live my best life! When I wear this sweatshirt it makes me think of all of my blessings but most of all I love how easy it is style!

I bought this sweatshirt on Black Friday for only $10. It’s so soft and comfortable! I really wish I bought more styles! I think it’s so perfect for the holiday season because after all we should be expressing our gratitude as we bring in the New Year.

I’m sure you all have noticed that velvet is such a big trend right now, and in my opinion it’s a texture that symbolizes some holiday glamour. This is why I paired these penny colored velvet boots with the sweatshirt for a pop of fun and color. I loooveee the color of this velvet boot because it’s different! Plus it’s similar to a boot that I had my eye on but was more expensive. I orignally bought the boots for $45 but then I saw that they were 50 percent off so I went back to the store to get a store adjustment, such a steal! (Tip of the day: Days after you purchased an item it may go sale! Most stores allow a store adjustment call or go to the store to find out. You won’t want to miss out on further savings!) Sidenote: These boots are on sale and also come in a beautiful blue color, so grab a pair while you can!

To finish off my look I added my gray metallic bucket bag that is an oldie but still a favorite of mine. Metallic is another big trend and perfect addition to your holiday look. What trend will you be adding to your holiday look as we countdown to the New Year?
