Tall Boots + Gold Pants

Winter is here! It means more opportunities to wear boots, right? Yes indeed! Besides my birthday and the first sight of snow this is the only thing that makes me happy to see winter. So of course my first blog post look for the New Year had to feature boots!

A new pair of brown boots was something that I needed in my closet. Good thing a friend thought of me and gave them as a gift during the holidays! The boots are easy to wear and very comfortable. Winter can be fun too, if you allow it. I wanted a fun color combo as my new year look and I did just that by using grey, white, gold, and brown altogether.

If you haven’t already noticed yet, my pants are actually the ankle pants I wore in my post Couldn’t Wait for Fall. Yes ankle pants can be worn in the winter, just not with your ankles all out of course. (DJS & STYLE tip of the day: Don’t think because it’s cooler outside that you can’t style your ankle pants. If it’s a little nippy outside just throw on a pair of boots over them for a different look!)
