Sweater + Midi Skirt

It’s December and the high for the day is 73 degrees, what do you wear? A skirt, a cute sweater, and pointed toe heels of course! This was my outfit option last Sunday and it felt great not being required to throw on jeans or a jacket because of the weather.

I think it’s so funny that in my previous post, Flannel + Sweater Weather, I was just talking about layering and staying warm. Now I’m here less than three weeks discussing short sleeve sweaters and midi skirts! Trust me I’m not complaining though!

Good weather always puts a smile on my face, and so do bright and fun colors. In fact it was actually my old sweater from Forever 21 that I used as my canvas to decide on my outfit. I opted for this sweater because of all the fun speckled colors in it and I thought it looked amazing with my Forever 21 midi skirt that was a new addition to the closet. (DJS & STYLE tip of the day: Always make sure to have basic essentials in your closet such as a black skirt. It makes your life a whole lot easier when you’re looking for something to just throw on). It also made it easy for me to decide on shoes and accessories!
