I opted for a fun look to spend time with family, and what’s more fun than a patterned dress, a faux-leather jacket, and booties? It’s definitely one of my favorite looks to do! I love that fall allows the opportunity to wear more dark colors, especially a deep purple or burgundy. I’m so glad that the weather permitted this look because I felt so fall in it!

The most inexpensive item is the pointed-toe booties from ShoeDazzle that I purchased last year for only $9.99 due to a promotion at the time. I can wear them just about anywhere because they are so comfortable and easily dress up any outfit. You can still find a pair on the ShoeDazzle website just not as cheap. Between this look and the”It All Falls Down” look, you can see that I’m a big fan of ankle boots/booties. The faux-leather jacket always looks great paired with the booties and I think it gives any outfit the right amount of flare. See how I style it with loose pants on my post “Edge Appeal“. The waist belt did not come with the dress, but I added it and my silver clutch to make the look a little more interesting.

I always find it amusing that at one point in my childhood I hated wearing a dress or a skirt because I felt that it wasn’t flattering. Now I love dressing up the perfect dress or skirt!
