Paris Travel Guide
A few years ago the idea of visiting Paris came to me so I added it to my dream travel list. Fast forward to last year and it was like Paris was constantly calling my name. I was seeing it everywhere. I started embracing the idea of traveling to Paris, France within the next year by manifesting it. I bought a ‘Paris Cafe” scented candle from Bath & Body Works and I would sit at my kitchen table and envision myself being at an actual Paris cafe. I also bought a sweatshirt with Paris inscribed on it and talked about visiting every chance I received. And you know what happened?…

My Getaway Cabin Experience
For a long time I’ve wanted to celebrate my birthday in a cabin somewhere, cozy up in a warm bed while I past time just watching nature do it’s thing. 2022 was a year of many experiences for me, and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to make another dream come true by staying in a tiny cabin in the Shenandoah Valley. I brought in the 33rd chapter of my life just how I envisioned - in peace, and I want to share more of my experience with you because you might want to cross this off your bucket list too!

The Statement Coat
Let’s face it, as the temps drop, your coat is the statement. Between this year and last year I made an effort to update my coat wardrobe. I’m so glad I did this because my coats will be doing all of the “talking” for me when I enter a room. I’m so here for all the patterned, bold colors, and different texture/style coats there are this year. If you’re like me and looking to ensure that your coats for the season are on point, look no further because I’m going to dive into some of my favorites right now!

3 Tips to Dress Stylish in the Workplace
Since I started working a hybrid schedule, I wanted to think of ways that I could boost my mood of being back in the office after almost three years. Immediately I thought of the way I feel when I wear a banging outfit and I knew this was my answer — dress up in the office to boost my energy, and just make me feel good despite not being in the comfort of my home. My mom recently reminded me of this saying — When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you do good.

Chicago Travel Guide
About a month ago I was rummaging through some old books of mine and found a notebook from 2016. I opened the book to one of the pages and found that I had wrote a travel bucket list, and on that list was Chicago.

My Visit to the Garfield Park Conservatory

Over the next few weeks I plan to create more blog posts surrounding our trip to Chicago. To start off my series of posts, I wanted to share my experience at the Garfield Park Conservatory and three reasons why you should visit.

The Summer Sneakers You Need
Growing up in New York, I can remember loving fashion even then. I was blessed with an allowance each week and would save up my money to buy a new outfit and more often than not a new pair of sneakers. I loved styling sneakers so much, anything from Air Jordans, Air Force 1s, Air Maxes and more. As I grew older, sneakers became less of a big interest in my fashion style, but recently I’ve been wanting to get back into adding more sneakers to my wardrobe.

Burnside Farms – Festival of Spring Visit
Heyyyy! It’s been so long since I posted on my blog, but I’m making an effort to change that. I’m returning to my roots, where my journey of being a content creator all began. So I’ll be back to sharing my style, local adventures, home decor and traveling on here. And what a better way to get back to blogging then sharing my recent visit to see the tulips at Burnside Farms!

Bucket Hat Outfit at Pumpkin Patch
A couple of weeks ago I finally made it to a pumpkin patch! Thank you to everyone that responded to my story when I asked what were the best pumpkin patches nearby. I chose to visit the DePaul's Urban Farm! I realized once we arrived that it was a location that I used to always pass on my way to work, but never noticed a pumpkin patch. It was the perfect location for me to capture some fall vibes and my bucket hat/jumper look!

Fall Trend – Flare Jeans
When I think of flare jeans, I immediately think about the time my mom purchased a pair of overall flared bottoms for me. They were a beige pair of overalls and actually cute! During recess in elementary school, somehow, I fell in the playground and lo and behold my new flared bottom overalls were ruined, at least I thought. Long story short my mom still continued to have me wear those things with a small rip and all. Guess I was ahead of my time with the ripped jeans/pants look. Fast forward to today and I’m cracking up over this memory, but loving the idea of flare jeans coming back…
